Education in Hungary

Hungary joined the Bologna Process in 1999 by signing the Bologna Declaration with 28 other countries with a view to establishing the European Higher Education Area by 2010. Students studying in certain universities can also work part time to cover some of their expenses

Visa Requirements

International students who want to stay in Hungary for more than 90 consecutive days and who are not citizens of a European Union Member State are required to apply for a long term student visa to Hungary in order to study in Hungary. In order to apply for visa the applicant needs to have some preferred and compulsory qualifications like IELTS (not mandatory but preferred), proof of finance, etc.
